Her Story
In the heartland of the world’s
largest Amish community lies a New York–styled gem. Her
name is Geneva Schlabach. Although raised in a Mennonite family
and community, Geneva knew there was a destiny for her life that
was larger than that community could contain. After her marriage
to Lamar, Geneva gave birth to four children whose names are Daniel,
Maggie, Joshua and Hans. As a wife and mother, Geneva embraces
life and pours herself into her family and community. |

In the fall of 2004, her heartstrings were pulled
to take a serious look at one of her desires. Following a divine
prompting, she decided to start pursuing a business creating chocolates,
specifically truffles. Her success grew like wildfire. A year
later, her cottage business more than tripled and she continues
to grow, becoming known nationally and internationally. Today
she is known as Geneva Chocolates, that New York styled lady in
Amish Country. |
